Program, Set up and operate (SIEMENS) SMT pick & place equipment
Set up and operate DEK solder paste printer machine
Set up and operate reflow ovens
Repair and maintain SMT pick & place / reflow / printing equipment / Feeders
Program, OMRON Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI)
Associates certificate in a technical discipline such as electronics and a minimum of
2-5 years of experience in a SMT Programmer / technician level position preferably working on Siemens pick and place machines
Must be proficient with a Surface Mount software programs and Microsoft Office Suite applications
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Knowledge of electronic component Identification and IPC610 area definite asset.
Hand soldering thru-hole and surface mount components including fine pitch using leaded and RoHS process ensuring IPC criteria has been met according to IPC 610 and J-STD-001
In-process Inspection and touch up of thru-hole and surface mount components using microscope.
Reworking thru-hole and surface mount assemblies including fine pitch components and ensuring that IPC criteria has been met according to IPC 7711/7721 standard.
Ability to demonstrate rework skills with de-soldering station and hot air gun.
Minimum 2 years electronic assembly and rework experience, particularity with SMT and thru-hole
Functional in written and spoken English is a must
Strong background in IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronics Assembly)
Basic knowledge of J-STD-001 (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies) is preferred.
Knowledge of IPC 7711/7721 (Rework, Modification and Repair of Electronic Assemblies) is preferred
